Chinese professionals from Nanjing Water Resource Office visit FloodProof Holland

On the 10th of December a group of 30 Chinese professionals from Nanjing Water Resource Office visited FloodProof Holland being part of a 30 days training of UNESCO-IHE. This visit included a demonstration of the BoxBarrier. Despite the cold weather the professionals shared their enthusiasm regarding the BoxBarrier.

Australia - BoxBarrier participated in temporary & demountable Flood Barrier tests in Newcastle

On the 30st of November the BoxBarrier participated in the independent testing of temporary and demountable flood barriers in Newcastle, Australia. The testing took place in a stormwater drain. The testing was organised by the City of Newcastle, Royal HaskoningDHV and Bluemont (the Australian agent of a.o. the BoxBarrier).
